Cook-a-thon Menu - August 2013
Here's our menu. We were pretty ambitious but finished at about 3:30 (minus the mess). We made pizza afterward because we had so many pizza toppings left so we got dinner out of it too! Cost was a little over $500. That was enough for 4 families and a little leftover for a 2 person family. Biggest cost is always the meat. If you can get chicken under $2/lb. you're doing good. We went to Wal-mart and bought family packs for $1.99/lb. If Zaycon happens to be coming, you may be able to get chicken cheaper than $1.99lb. though it will come in a 40 lb. box. We bought beef at Costco as that was the best deal at the time (still a bit expensive if you ask me though).
