Cook-a-thon Menu - August 2013

Here's our menu.  We were pretty ambitious but finished at about 3:30 (minus the mess).  We made pizza afterward because we had so many pizza toppings left so we got dinner out of it too!  Cost was a little over $500.  That was enough for 4 families and a little leftover for a 2 person family.  Biggest cost is always the meat.  If you can get chicken under $2/lb. you're doing good.  We went to Wal-mart and bought family packs for $1.99/lb.  If Zaycon happens to be coming, you may be able to get chicken cheaper than $1.99lb.  though it will come in a 40 lb. box. We bought beef at Costco as that was the best deal at the time (still a bit expensive if you ask me though).

Jessica’s Soup, White Chicken Chili, Parmesan Chicken, Spaghetti Meat Sauce, Bob’s Marinara, Heidi’s Enchiladas, Calzones, Marinated Pork Chops (Heidi), Marinated Pork Chops (Jen), Marinated Chicken, Mexican Casserole w/beef, taco meat, coconut lime chicken, Stuffed Shells
